This Ellesmere Port based client is part of the group who have facilities in six Central European countries, making them one of the largest producers of corrugated base paper and cardboard products in the region. They have been manufacturing customised packaging since 2006 including containerboard, and corrugated sheet board with an emphasis on sustainability.

The client was already familiar with the EFAFLEX industrial door brand as a German owned company and users of our products. Having experienced the quality and performance of our warehouse high-speed doors first-hand, it made sense to use our products for this new build facility in 2019.

The site location is very exposed to the elements and any solution needed to be capable of withstanding up to wind class 3 and 4, with safety and speed being critical. This is a greenfield site where aesthetics are important. The client needed to use industrial high-speed doors that would fit seamlessly and integrate into the building structure.

EFAFLEX SST-S Premium was specified for its durability and performance, along with our fabric SRT-Eco. The client operated a one-way traffic system for smooth operations and logistics. Here we worked with their building contractor to ensure all the steelwork details were accurate and help with the smooth door installation and hand over.

Having already completed two phases of construction and reworking inside the plant, the next phase of works is already underway. Once again, we will be offering our expert industrial door advice to ensure smooth uninterrupted flow from manufacture to logistics.
