This client is a major player within the high-performance and sustainable insulation products, employing more than 11,000 people across 39 countries. In the UK they specialise within the construction industry where they have been manufacturing and supplying products for the domestic market for over 40 years.

They are familiar with the EFAFLEX brand as they use our industrial high-speed doors overseas and already have a number of doors in situ at this South Wales facility.

A site survey was completed in October 2021 during which the client outlined the key objectives for this project which entailed installing doors over a conveyor belt.

EFAFLEX are familiar with materials, handling and logistic projects, where the smooth movement and transportation of goods are necessary in order to fulfil orders in a timely fashion.

We used specialist equipment as part of the installation and operated around the client’s busy schedule to ensure minimal disruption to their production programme.

The SRT high-speed warehouse roll up fabric door, is ideal for this environment as it will help to safeguard the users whilst capable of up to 250,000 operating cycles per year to minimise downtime, and extend the periods between service and maintenance checks.

This project was completed in June 2022, and the client is so impressed with the performance of the warehouse’s high-speed doors that we have already commissioned further units at the same facility.
