Amberley Labels (Phase 2)
Warehouse High Speed Door Case Study

Client: Amberley Labels
Location: Dorset
Sector: Manufacturing
Products Used: SST®

This is the second phase project for this new customer to EFAFLEX which completed March 2022. Amberley Labels manufacture award winning, decorative labels for products including drinks and cosmetics, for companies such as Tesco, Farrow and Ball, and Innocent Smoothies.

As with the previous warehouse door installation, we were asked to replace two industrial doors which had been installed in tandem to create a double-layer entrance. The old warehouse roller shutter door was slow to operate and even with the additional secondary door, didn’t fulfil the security criteria required.

Once again, we manufactured their bespoke industrial door using Amberley Labels’ corporate colours, to match the door on the first phase installation. Vision laths were commissioned into the door blade to improve the line of sight and reduce the risk of incidents.

The SST door provides maximum heat insulation via the EFA-Therm® laths and can easily withstand the highest wind capacity. Capable of opening up to 2.5 metres per second and constructed using quality materials it can perform up to 250,000 operating cycles per year, which is an immense improvement on the previous door system, in terms of aesthetics, performance and functionality

Amberley Labels are delighted with their EFAFLEX high-speed door and will hopefully return later this year for additional products.
