This was a refurbishment project on behalf of a client who was familiar with EFAFLEX and already had some of our high-speed industrial doors in use. The project was to convert an existing warehouse into a cleanroom manufacturing area at their facility in Woodstock, Oxfordshire.
Cleanrooms and pharmaceuticals are a key sector for EFAFLEX as we have designed product features that are beneficial for the industry; smooth surfaces using materials that are easy to keep clean, and high-speed warehouse door openings to reduce the risk of cross contamination.
Here we recommended the SRT-CRC (ISO Class 6) for this specific application. A high-speed cleanroom door that is capable of ensuring that air pressures are in line with ISO Class 6 performance. These industrial doors are ideal for zones where airlocks feature as they maintain the pressures effortlessly.
