Who is the client?
This was our first project partnering with this contractor who works with councils, railways, universities and hotels, specialising in providing software solutions, payment solutions, barrier parking and freeflow parking. They met us at a trade show back in 2022 when they were impressed with the EFAFLEX build quality and door operating speeds.
They were looking for a particular solution for a major international hotel chain at their Bournemouth site to protect the car park users from anti-social behaviour and the risk of vandalism.
What fast action industrial doors did they choose?
Having completed a site survey in August 2023 at the existing site in Bournemouth, our Business Development Manager recommended doors from the EFAFLEX PS Series; a range of solutions that all deliver speed, performance, durability, and security. With a variety of door styles including ventilation laths and options for low lintels the PS Series is the door of choice for many UK and global car parking clients.
What benefits will this fast action door deliver?
The PS Series offers reliable property protection for both residential and commercial environments. The long service life (capable of up to 250,000 operating cycles per year), combined with high operating speeds (opens at speeds of up to 2.5 m/s) reduce the keep open time (exposure) affording security to its users.
What are the key benefits of this specific door?
At this particular location, the operator wanted to increase peace of mind for the hotel users, replacing an existing gate with a high-speed secure shutter from EFAFLEX.
Were there any specific requirements from this project?
The aperture had a low lintel with confined head room. As each EFAFLEX door is made to order for the specific needs of the client, this is a typical situation. In fill and cladding works will complete the installation – photos show the site during installation.
The client was so pleased with the project that further orders are likely for this site.
