Owen Mumford Limited are part of ‘embecta’ with over 70 years experience manufacturing pioneering medical devices for key pharmaceutical and diagnostics companies. Their products are globally recognised for their quality, innovation, and advanced design.
This project at their facility in Witney, saw us collaborate with a new contractor, Barnwood Construction, although Owen Mumford themselves are repeat returning customers to EFAFLEX having come to rely upon and trust our products across their other UK locations.
They first became aware of EFAFLEX at a trade show back in 2021.
What fast action industrial doors did they choose?
This project involved a specific need; to create an effective airlock environment. Conducting a comprehensive site survey enabled us to effectively recommend the following products;
- SST-L & STR-L Premium to create an effective air lock between the exterior and interior
- SRT-CRC – our cleanroom door capable of environment ISO Class 6
A total of five doors were installed for this project.
What benefits will this fast action door deliver?
The SST-L is a high-speed spiral door, which combines perfect insulation, efficient functionality, and state of the art technology. Our STR-L Premium meanwhile is a high-speed roll-up door. A great all-rounder, manufactured for heavy duty usage as an inside door or hall closure.
The SRT-CRC meanwhile has been designed to cater specifically for cleanroom applications, where air purity and quality is paramount. This door is ideal for ISO Class 6 environments.
