INDUSTRIAL DOOR ENGINEER
Effective Date: Ongoing
Location: Home-based across the UK; ideally Leeds, York, Middlesbrough, Cambridge, Reading, Basingstoke, Milton Keynes, Northampton, Crawley, Maidstone, Chelmsford, Peterborough.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Based from home, you will provide installation, service, and repair of EFAFLEX high-speed industrial doors, ensuring customers receive best-in-class service delivered in the professional manner expected from a global leader.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, service, and repair high-speed industrial doors to EFAFLEX standards.
- Diagnose faults and perform both preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Support a fast-growing UK customer base; provide regional cover from the listed areas.
- Communicate professionally with customers; complete clear job notes and reports.
- Work safely and comply with site rules and EFAFLEX procedures at all times.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and van stock in good order.
- Attend training at our UK and German Head Offices as required.
Requirements:
- Experienced professional door engineer; mechanical and electrical installation background.
- Repair experience desirable.
- Full UK driving license required.
- IPAF accreditation, FLT license, and valid CSCS (or NVQ) qualifications desirable but not essential.
- Team player with diligence and commitment to excellent customer service.
- Comfortable working independently from home and traveling across the UK.
Qualifications & Knowledge
- Proven experience as an Industrial Door Engineer or similar field service role.
- Good working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with high-speed door products advantageous.
- Willingness to undertake full training at our UK and German Head Offices.

- Excellent interpersonal and customer communication skills.
- Attention to detail and safe working practices.
- Good time management and organisation.
Special Requirements
Home-based role with regular travel across the UK; full driving license required.
