The company was founded in 1974 and is a market leader in industrial doors and the technology we invented, spiral doors. Specification considerations
BIM data is available for each door in Revit, ArchiCAD and AutoCAD formats through our BIM download portal. Installation drawings with dimensions and tender text is available for our products. Insulated high speed doors can also support LEED and BREEAM accreditation when a project requires it.
EFAFLEX can also provide one to one support from our architecture and planning team, using project managers who are experienced on large industrial builds. This covers off design guidance, co-ordination drawings and tender preparation.
Sector specific doors
Warehouse & Logistics
Manufacturing, warehouse and logistics openings use doors that handle fork lift and conveyor traffic. EFA-SST Therm and EFA-SST Alux can open at up to 2.5 m/s, are rated for up to 500,000 cycles a year. The S Series covers larger openings from 1,200mm to 10,000mm wide.
Food, Beverage & Pharmaceutical
Food, beverage, pharmaceutical and cleanroom sites require fast and insulated closures to protect temperature loss and improve control. EFA-SST Therm gives a U value of up to 1.4 W/m²K. EFAFLEX is a Cold Chain Federation member demonstrating our work in temperature controlled environments.
Parking & Public Buildings
Parking and airport buildings need good visibility and daylight where the opening is. EFA-STT Clear uses an acrylic glass door leaf for improved visuals, while the S Series low header helps restricted parking and public building openings.
