Who is the client?
This is long standing client who is a total EFAFLEX fan! Virtually all of the high-speed doors across their Telford facility are EFAFLEX branded, and their door of choice whenever there is a refurbishment, extension, or new build project and have been since the 1990’s.
Established in 1983, the client has a rich heritage of manufacturing and innovation within the print and image solutions industry, with facilities at Telford and Stirling.
What fast action industrial doors did they choose?
For this project we were replacing an existing roll-up EFAFLEX door which had been in service for 18 years since 2006. The door had performed exceptionally well, and ideal for the environment where many cycles were completed each day.
As capex funding was available, the client wanted to refresh the door and replace ‘like with like,’ and as such a SRT-ECO high-speed door was manufactured and installed.

Capable of up to 150,000 operating cycles per year, and with opening speeds of up to 2 metres per second, the SRT-ECO is ideal for many industrial applications. Featuring transparent vision panels, visibility is enhanced to reduce the likelihood of workplace incidents in busy environments where logistic downtimes would be costly.
Were there any specific requirements from this project?
This was a straight forward project for the EFAFLEX team. Replacing a similar door with a ‘like with like’ meant that little site prepartion was necessary; a simple swap.
It is always a pleasure for us to return to existing customers and see our array of high-speed doors in action. This SRT-ECO joins the rest of the many EFAFLEX doors already on site and promises a long work life at this customer’s facilty.
