This is a new customer to EFAFLEX UK with a project completed early 2022.
Amberley Labels manufacture award winning, decorative labels for products including drinks and cosmetics, for companies such as Tesco, Farrow and Ball, and Innocent Smoothies.
At their site location in Dorset, they had been using an old roller shutter door which was slow to operate and provided little insulation. We were invited to complete a site survey to assess the aperture. The space above the door was limited, which steered us to our PS Series. This commercial high-speed door is generally installed into car parking entrances and exit points where headroom and lintel space is often limited. The PS Series offered the perfect solution for this installation.
An EFAFLEX SST PS® was designed using Amberley Labels’ corporate colours, with vision laths built into the upper third of the door to improve the line of sight and reduce the risk of incidents.
The door is now capable of opening up to 1.8 metres per second and is constructed using quality materials that ensure up to 200,000 operating cycles per year. This is a great improvement in terms of opening and closing speed and durability compared to the traditional warehouse roller shutter it replaced.
Amberley Labels are delighted with their EFAFLEX high-speed door and will hopefully return later this year for additional products.
